I appreciate your comment. I beleive in "Theres always room for improvement". 4-2 is not bad. Losing 1 point to ML with a complete squad. Losing to Arya by 6 points after they trail us by 20 points in the first half again with complete squad, finally beating Iriguenos. Not bad for a firts Half the team in-experience. Given the time with my Boys you'll enjoy watching there game next time.
to be honest i definitely go for d epsom team obviously bec of their experienced player but like what d saying goes bilog ang bola so nothings impossible in a game...goodluck though ,,may d force be with ur team
I will personally go for blazers, if the coach would be able to do the right blend-the team will win on top by 20 pts at least. on the other hand, if he sticks with his traditional ways it will go in favor of epsom.
Thanks for your support KNIGHT. I'll do my very best.
Traditonal is still very effective. You have to know your opponent fisrt and your players playing on the day.
Hopefully we could get back or our normal defense. I hope you'd seen it before. 1 of my player is playing for the first time with us, some still need experince. John with get he's shooting back soon. Hopefully, we can get our teamwork toghether soon.
Sorry if we dis-appoint some of the people out there. It wasn't an easy game last week, We knew they can shoot from outside and they were HOT. 3 points all over the place. I got But, I thought they lost it in free throw. hehehehe
I just hope we have a good game and they will be @ least 10 players (epsom) which I doubt. Look at the team standings now. And thank you Baluga for your opinion. As you said bilog ang bola.
Coach wrote: No, Of course not. Specially by 10 poionts. That's his/her opinion. I can't do anything about that. They are entitled to it.
Strategy, Defend well and we'll tire them.
Thanks Fknight.
I am sure VETERAN PLAYER is a HE. And please check your spelling as an slight error or misplaced letter may offend. And thanks Knight for the history lesson. Where did you get that from? The film Braveheart? I'll also go for an Epsom win. Blazers may be quick but only if they have the ball on offense. And do you really see Epsom losing the ball that much? Epsom lost to ML on the first day cos the point guard on that day kept losing the ball to Lloyd. In the end, the Blazers will lose ideas on how to keep up with Epsom. Please prove me wrong!!! I also heard their Blazers' centre prefers playing guard/forward?

Happy? let this sundays game be with you..... good luck tailblazers..

I wouldn't say what approach Coach has to do to win this game, he has to learn it himself through the hardway or have advice from the people he closely know. He already has the pieces all he has to do is utilise it wisely.
If you are already so sure that Epsom is winning, will you please change the Epsom's standing now to 7 - 1.
Other thing is, you mentioned Braveheart, if you have a copy of the DVD I would be glad to watch it again.
As for Marco, giving a win to Tailblazers is not a way that Epsom thinks, they play to win and it is their pride to be unbeaten. gets?
Well Done BLAZERS, we lost by 4 points against EPSOM. Not a bad result at all. EPSOM came out to play with pride and heart, with additional Ex-pro (DENNIS.A).
We, did not have one of our key player, due to injury. But, we still made them work hard to win. We nearly had an extra time. Every game is a learning lesson to us. Thanks for your comments and opinions.
Unfortunately, I didn't see this match but I heard that it was a very close match. To those that saw the match, was Abatuan's presence on the court helped Epsom or Tailblazers? Who was controlling the game? Were there a lot of transitions?

which one's dennis a? is he the one wearing protective glasses ala old school james worthy?
overtime would've been tough. with two of the regular starters fouled out, the t/blazers lineup was getting shorter and shorter. epsom had the height in every position and the know how to utilise that.
Yes, Mr Abatuan, ex-pba pro is the one with the glasses. Coach, you didn't even know he was on the lineup until game time did you? Motivation? You never needed one. I bet you played all your matches the way. Fast paced with a few set plays here and there. Epsom...big guys and know how to utilise their players? Discipline, discipline, discipline learned thru professional training. Not everyone needs to score. Team effort, know your position, learn how to adapt, know where you are needed...easy said than done actually.

Yes dsta8, You got that right thats him. Oo nga eh. We were getting shorter and shorter. But, you could have had the last shot and try to get a foul counted. Sorry Des. But, Hey. nevermind. My Idol said done is done. We just have to learn from it. We lost but not down yet.
Of course i knew it was Him, Idol. Sabay pa nga kamin dumating eh.
what a gmae Ex-Pro vs Amature. Well done, BLAZERS.
actually considering the depleted lineup, i should have gone for glory and shot a three on the fastbreak. overtime wouldnt've been enough...i was prob next on line to foul out anyway...those refs dont like me.
Dsta8 ,Don't worry mate, We've done our best. It's not your bad, it's our bad, Theres is no I in TEAM. We 're toghether win or lose. We still dont know, who are we gonna bump into in the second round. This actually the first time I saw Epsom played in this leauge with a nearly full squad in the 1st round. and, They even added DENNIS to their arsenals. SPECIALLY for BALZERS We played without BING, we lost by 4 points. Is a not bad.
well well well. It is hard to accept defeat. it is part of the game.it just happened that it is your team always and with oldies epsom. TOTALLY SOURGRAPING. even with vidad. i bet you, they would still have lost. Galing ni vidad nagrason masakit ang tuhod..What a good reason not to play and not to be blamed for the game. well done. Epsom, just a good advice, please let this team have a chance, even for once. OK?
hhhmmm....some people are making this out to be a lot bigger deal than it actually is. dude, relax, this is no big deal...its just a sunday hit out...no more than that. the guys dont hate each other...they still shook hands in the end didnt they? it was a good game...nothing more. look for dramas elsewhere.
buy yourself a tv...live through the lives of pinoy big brother housemates...take your wife/gf/bf out...there's more to life than the drama you're trying to stir up here.
Ok guys Stop getting personal and get ur head in the game not people's highlights......................
By da way can someone tell me as to how often the team standings is updated as well as the fixtures for future games.....
SORRY not trying to be mean but Can we talk about sumthin else becoz FACT -BLAZERS lost end of story , Arya Lost and u dont see me going on about it. So GET OVER IT and concentrate on the following games. Tailblazers I think that you will have a chance with Kampay as they are not as fast and strong as ur team are (apart from the big scary import) .
HA. depends. actually i dont complain that much. most of the time i only talk to the refs. league here's diff tho, seems like the policy is that refs shouldnt say a word. is it a filipino ref thing?!
in other leagues im able to talk to the ref...they talk back...i make a suggestion, they say whatever i did wrong...they acknowldege me, i acknowledge them...whatever. play goes on, i get on with the game, and they get on with their job...calling it as they see it. whats annoying is when you get no call or worse, a bizzare offensive foul call just because you 'complain' too much (i had a feeling this was the case...this was later confirmed).
most of the time, i just muck about with refs...one or two are alright.
Talking about the refs, no offense but there skills aint good enough to be a referee. To be honest I see it as a monopolized business for it's only them who actually accepts the filipino league for they are the cheapest. Looking at there background, reffing is not their career but just a hobby for themselves. this people have there own professional jobs. (ie nursing) what would we further expect???? but misjudged calls and uncontrolled games.
I have seen alot of games, but very poor decision making by the refs I tried to complain lots of times but never been heard, baranggay leagues back in Philly is much more better than there calls.
better reffing will cost the organizers, and I think this will also come back to us by paying more fees.

Good points about the refs. Your probably right about the money thing. It just seems to be the same philly refs now in all the leauges.
I remember a few years ago when KAMPI had outside refs that were alot better and much less bias. Maybe getting different refs for the finals & playoffs might be an idea but then I can't see that happening, esp in KAMPI.....lol
OH WELL NEW TOPIC ANYONE...!!!!
PS: dsta8 is a WestsideKING and also now plays for the Trailblazers so look after him Coach... he's not a complainer just passionate about the game...!!!
Fer gudniss seyk coach, porke nag rekwest na c sweetness naging soft ka na.. For goodness sake Coach, just because sweetness made a request you've going soft. OK topic closed.

As I have said before, if you stick in your traditional ways you will lose the game. which you did. the answer is right in front of you coach change it and you will win the championship.
