RESULTS FOR 24/3/07

Kings wins against Pinoy Warriors. 71-57.
Southwark 79 - Kingsum 59
Controllers 75 - Tigers 65

In my oinion:
Players of the game is Medina of Kings. Simply because he works hard to get the other team mates to help him on full court press. Some 3 points shot too. It's a pity Wrriors just run out of steam at the end.

Southwark win against the Kingsum. Wow what a game. Both team started really well. The energy and fast pace of Southwark stops the kingsom from scoring in the last 5 minutes of second half. A good D and D rebound of number 30 was excellent the speed of (ups cant remeber his name nor number, Yeah it's a filipno thing cant remember names. The number 9 of Raya Abra) that left handed one. his finishing was great, Overall good team work. They all work hard. Kingsum just couldnt match them on the day.

My player of the game. Number 30 of Southwark for his Defensive rebound.

Final score was 79-54.

and last but not the least.
,
Controllers vs Tigers. 75-65 to Controllers. What a game. Just when you thought the Tigers are well controlled and in the cages already, they escape and trailed the 17 lead of Controlers at the end of first half. They Were neck to neck untill the last 5 minutes of second half ,61 all is the score, Then controllers had 2 x 3 point shot In iit goes, By Galman last 2:30 min. left (the younger one,ups sorry i'm not sure of he'sname.sorry mate) and they put the tigers back in the cage and in CONTROLL. Game finish. Wow, that was close controllers.

My player of the game. Galman ( The a litle bit darker skin) sorry mate dont know your first name.

younger one is Jeffrey Galman - (no.7?) of controllers. Great result for the Controllers. Probably lost the game concentration or the Tigers eventually gathered momentum to keep up with the faster pace of their younger opponents. This should have been a Tigers win cos the experience should have been the deciding factor at the end. But then again, Controllers have their own game plan!!!

Kings 71 - 57 Pinoy Warriors

There was just 1 point in it at half time. With no Rowland and Michael P in foul trouble and benched for the last 9 mins of the half-time, PW Centre (Zack's Pops) was running the paint  and keeping the game close.
But after a good half-time talk and change of tactics by coach Jodel and motivation by M. The team responed well and played like a team using the high intensity, speed and defence to get the Win. Well Done ALL...!!!
Good preformances by our new playas, Chino, Desi & Romnick.
Good friendly game against the Jubilee crew but the Kuya's did run out of steam at the end...!!!

Southwark 79 - 59 Kingsom

Only saw a few minutes of this game but the team work of the Southwark gave them the win. I think both teams only had 7-8 players doh.

Controllers 75 - 65 Tigers

Came in just before half time with the Controllers nearly 20 points up. The second half started with the Tigers goin all out Crazy and pushed it to cut the lead with the stong play of #32 and fast breaks baskets of Rowen. I think the Controllers just got a bit shook with the sudden surge and the game was even with 3 mins to go. The Young Guns seem to get their game heads back on and after converting a T-foul awarded to them took control of the game with the confidence they showed in the first half. Great shootin by Jeff (#7) but this young team can only get better & better, maybe with help of a good COACH...!!! keep it up..!!!

Anyone played at the new Hope St. venue ??? Comments pls...
