London Filipino Basketball Academy for Filipino children

Basketball sessions for Filipino children, up to 12 years old.

Where:  Westway Leisure Centre, 1 Crowthorne Road, North Kensington W10 6RP

When:  Thursdays 16:30 to 18:30 starting on the 7th June till the 23rd August. 

Cost:  Up to £40 per child for the 12 weeks.  We can offer 6 weeks for £25.

All participants will be registered and insurance prior to the start of the activity.  Children must have their parents' consent in written.  Coaches are qualified, registered with the national governing body (England Basketball) and have a Criminal Records Bureau Certificate.   


Please note that start of sessions may be delayed due to unforeseen reasons.  We will notify the parents on time.

Mr Salonoy is a qualified basketball coach and referee from the Philippine Islands.  He was an Athletic Coordinator and Coach at the Marymount Academy (Cagayan de Oro City).  Previously, he had qualifed as a Basketball Coach in 1997, by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (General Santos City) and as a Basketball Referee by the Philippine Basketball Association. 

Mr Salonoy arrived to London two years ago.  He has refereed in England for the England Basketball, Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association, with  national league status.  He has also refereed for the Middlesex Basketball League. 

Mr Salonoy has coached children in North London under a joint funded scheme set up by Hillside Housing Trust and the London Amateur Basketball League. 

All the named organisations above will give references and recommendations for Mr Salonoy as a trustred official and coach.
