GAME 1 Controllers again with their full-court press defense all through-out the game proved too much for the "very young" Pinoy Warriors. Final score at 107-63. Salonga (#5) and C. East (#36) both scored 18 points each but B. Abeleda (#10) top-scored for the Controllers with 20 points
GAME 2 No show again for Gifto Travel for the second match giving Shohoko their second win in the season.
GAME 3 Defending champions BC Relaks added another win in their standings, winning over JCS Tigers in the third game(81-74). Jojo Sy (#13) is the man of the match playing brilliant defense and top-scoring for BC Relaks with 28 points.
GAME 4 PGH Hotshots gained another win in the fourth game of the day over the undermanned Westside Kings (81-74). The last few minutes of the game was slightly interrupted by some exchange of words and gestures from both teams but was immediately settled. Tuazon (#34) top-scored for the Hotshots with 26 points.
Hotshots, look to have found the winning formula against a weakened side of westside. Being a spectator of many of the games, i still think westside can stil make the playoffs. However, the favourites right now have to be the four most exprienced teams, Rosewood, Southwark, BC, d'jump.
Only 4 to 5 games left for most teams, who can make the playoffs? it will be interesting...
wESTSIDE will make the playoffs..they seem to be too strong not to qualify. OK they lost to Rosewood, BC and PGH. They afford to lose anymore otherwise they'll end up as...almost qualified!
i agree! i think we have a good chance but i think after the loss againist hot shots our chance of making playoffs are very slim! but i will always believe that we can make it!
the hotshots game was a good game we had a good first half, then the second certain players on our team were being targeted! mike was trying to stay out of foul trouble and myself, and plus i was being man marked and couldnt adjust to it with hotshots still playing zone at the same time.
we only had 6 players with another 5 or 6 main players missing! even sunny had to come on and give us a hand!
