Because ML is unbeaten should make it easier to explain.
Twice to beat rule is an incentive or advantage earned by a team that topped the table at the end of the qualifying round. Whether they lose a game along the way is debatable or should be made clear in writing by the officials at the beginning of the season. Not during the finals.
QTR-FINALS If Globe beats ML on Sunday, the first game of the day, ML will have another chance to go thru, not immediately, but after all the teams have played their fixtures. SEMI-FINALS If ML did not lose a game, then ML still have the Twice To Beat advantage in the semis. Again, if ML lose first match, they'll get another chance at the end. FINAL - NO TWICE TO BEAT.
I like the score difference rule to work out the team standings. Will keep everyone guessing on who plays who in the semis.
I hope this clarifies the Twice to Beat rule...if you think this is wrong...then speak to the organisers to get more explanation as soon as possible.
