Epsom beat Kampay 80-73
Controllers thrashed Embassy (the No.1 challenger to Epsom) by about 20 pts
JCS Tigers beat Iriguenyos
DMCI (ex-Rosewood/ML) beat Dream Team (some Sunics players here)

The first game was very exciting and very tight towards the end. Epsom played well with M Mustre, Carmona, Huliganga, Barcelona and Tubeza as the starting five. Kampay lost the rhythm halfway through the second half and allowed Carmona and Aguilar to score in the paint as Epsom broke away. T Mustre scored a jumper to dampen Kampay's hope of tying the scores with about a minute left.
These teams will probably meet again in the finals.

Almost all of regulars know what the Controllers are about so a win for them is not surprising. BUT the manner of how Embassy lost will be the talk of the league for a particular player...again!

I guess I spoke too soon....SHOHOKU have got to be a contender in the finals now that they have beaten the Defending Champions and the PSUK champions?

I'm trying to avoid a forum slagging match...we're not bitches here..aww keep comments either funny or somewhat interesting....thanking you in advance for your patronage...got your ticket for the RP Aces weekend visit in November yet? Bravo should be fit by then shouldn't he. What a weekend that will be.
