I just have to comment on the matches between Shohoku and Fil-Agency,
CLD and Charlton. Both matches on spectators point of view, were quite
entertaining, but not for the teams involved.

Fil-Agency were leading Shohoku by up to 15 points I think at the start of
second half but somehow the 5 man Shohokus rallied and eventually went
ahead with a minute by a Lloyd Sambo 3 pointer to go 1 or 2 pts up.
And it stayed that way to the final buzzer and to the disbelief of the Agency.

The match between CLD and Charlton featured the 2 arguably the
best offensive players around at the moment. JP Lacubtan(CLD) and
Chris Cunanan (Charlton). Both are hard to defend against. Both displayed
a lot of impressive layups but made the crowd go uuuhhhh!!!
I must also mention the confusion with the 24 second time
clock...it is a pain in the butt regardless of who to blame.

Also, this game was really close at the end. Charlton started strongly and led
by 8pts in the first 5 minutes. Then, eventually, CLD warmed up and I got
tired, and Charlton don't have any more tall players on the bench.
CLD eventually took and kept the lead to the end. But Charlton could've
nicked it at the end cos CLD were leading by 5pts, when Charlton's Joey
bagged an important 3 pointer under pressure to cut the lead to 2. I think
there were only 7 secs left when CLD was fouled, but missed 2 freethrows and
Charlton got possession then was fouled and had the chance to tie
the scores. Unfortunately, the first shot hit nothing but the side of the board!
Let's not mention his name here! He probably didn't sleep well on
Sunday night..heheheh!!! Then, the second also missed. He definitely has
to practice freethrows! Charlton got the rebound and had
2 attempts to score but both missed! The 3rd went in but ref disallowed as the
buzzer had gone off...this time not for the 24 secs violation!
CLD's passing and shooting were more effective today and the best team
on the day won. CLD won by 2 pts...just!

Finally, the new venue is one of the nicest I have played in. The best for
me is Langdon School.
