So we can say...HAIL THE NEW CHAMPIONS!!!....   ???

Hehehe..hindi muna...too early...to say...maybe for this Saturday League meron advantage ang iba dahil key players nila don't work weekends or look after children at weekends.

Still, a good team must be seen and recognised. And Southwark this season are awesome! Watch out BC, you can't relaks anymore...

Southwark is looking very strong this season especially with the added Sunic Strength.

I think the Fav 4 are:
Rosewood
Southwark
PGH Hotshots
& last year's Champs BC.

However its very early days and anything can happen on any given day...............

If players can't make their games then that’s the teams fault for having them on the squad. There are plenty of good players out there that want to play and can make the scheduled games.

The whole season schedule is available so absent players is not an excuse.
One player dose not make your team and having a deep squad can make up for any unforeseen problems.

Couldn't agree more with your comment about one player does not make up a team but one player that plays a vital role in a team make a whole lot of difference to the way the team plays and winning games. ML is stronger with the signing of their new point guard, although he's still inexperienced compared to Pacampara and Bravo. And one team suffers with that loss! And I can go on...point guards are a rare breed and the good ones usually carries the team gameplan and don't just play.

I agree too but what I mean is if the player can't commit to making the games they need to play then theres no point putting them on the squad.

We know this leauge is on Saturdays and like yourself I think Saturday is not a good day for some players.

I have one or two players I really need to be at every game so I made sure they could make most of our matches.

It is disappointing not seeing all the best players play but hopefully it gives a chance to the rest of us....

Are you saying you got a chance to win the championships? I'm afraidnot...you're not good enuf...not mature enuf...your new point guards may be good but not that good...I'll say Southwark and PGH (Phil General Hospital?) at the finals.

NO, I'm not saying or thinking that for a minute. It is far too early in the season.

Good enuff....maybe.... anything can happen.

Mature enuff... maybe not yet, our team is still developing, with a mix of young and older players.

We just try to play our best and try to enjoy the game at the same time. IT'S JUST BASKETBALL...!!!

As for the final I think it more likely to be Southwark Vs Rosewood

westside kings are definitely gud enuf!!  On there day I think they can beat anyone.  They have to be careful and play a wise game though.  Ive seen a couple of der games and they are bit like the sunics.  Scoring will win you games but when your winning by 20 points with 5 minutes left you need to start playing smart.  Sunics, in my opinion have never been good in close games.  its ok when they blow the team away, but in close games they fail.  Westside need to learn how to play the slow game better coz they are a naturely fast paced team.  Once they do that they'll surely be contenders.

Regarding the final, its early to say but I think if WS beat Rosewood in the round robin I reckon they will play Princess Grace Hospital for the championship.  Yeah I know PGH got hammered by Southwark but the starting five was not there and you know when it comes to the crucial games they will be.
