Thanks coach! ( I think) I dont want to be specific about the teams as I dont wanna upset anyone... But I think the pipol thats reading this will know which team seems to be winning regardless of the fact that they are not that good. Just wanted to express my feeling about the "lutuan" in da game. I think Im not the only one who feels the same.

Coach please do not start a chat up line here! Are you even sure that Sweetness is a gurlll??? It's been mentioned previously which team(s) they are. Just do a bit of research in the forums...it shouldn't take long. Clue...in the KAPIS League 2007. But losing team will always look for someone to blame...fact of life....nobody should be offended and even refs are used to criticisms.

Now, I know whya they call you "Relax ka lang pare" in PSUK. lol.

No matter how much they cook the game wether its rare,medium or welldone. If the custmer say it's not good, it's not good, Back in the kitchen yan.You know what i mean.

I felt our game yesterday was lutong Makaw too, Pero I the best team won pa din. I just have to get my boys back to their D.

In my opinion, the best player of T/blazers is on the bench...itching to go on and prove that he's still got it!!! Former MVP candidate but had to travel to Bermuda...work committements...is he worried that the skills might've got trapped in the triangle....or did he pick up something while he was there? He suddenly got this urge to coach! Don't you know that it's the hardest job in basketball? Cos he has to cope with the pressure and babysit those that are called starplayers! But hey...if you got the skill...prove it....I miss those fancy hairstyles though...Becks probly saw you then with the Mohican then he copied and made it international!!!! hahuhuahahhahahahabwaahhhh

Sori coach hindi ko getz yung sinabi mo na "If the customer is not happy, they are not happy, bak in da kitchen" Well if the game is cooked it stays cooked and it can never go back in the kitchen whether you like it or not. Kahit magwala kapa sa galit there is nothing you can do.

I just hope that the top 4 or 5 teams are the deserving team and so is the champion..... Hope whoever becomes the champion are the champion because they are the best of the best.

No matter how they luto the game. Obious naman minsan. The ref is always right. We just have to take it, And back on depense and try to forget it and continue playing. I know how frustraiting it is during the game. Referee is alway right. Kuha muna?

with all due respects to editor and coach, you where a good and smartplayer back in the days provided you had strong players backing you up in tickboyz but when you played with rookies (as their strongest player) it was totally different. i dont think you can survive the competative and aggressive game that the league offers now.

The only difference now and the Tikboyz era was that we got more big name former-Pro's from RP. Either PBA, MBA, PABL and UAAP.
The likes of Tiger Lads, Leon, Yaphi, Housepride to name a few are not exactly pussycat dolls on the court...nor were the Tikboyz! Paolo Salvador was our main henchman...no wonder he's in hiding. The coach won his rings with Tikboyz not becoz he had nice hair..I can swear to that...but you probly won't remember as you were still a little nipper then.
I hope you have developed your game to warrant a regular starting place in your team.

the league is much more physical and competative now than it was before. comon editor, there is far more new, more expericed and better players playing now in the last 5 years compared to your tickboyz era 10-15 years ago. you had no other team or players to compete against with the likes of tigerlads, tickboyz or leon but if the same teams played now in the last 5 yrs some of them would be lucky to be in the finals or even maybe semis.

Hahaha..you are so funnyyyy!!! Don't you know that most of those players from that are regularly in the finals during the Tikboyz, Yaphi, Housepride era or top four are still regularly in the top four! ML have a few, Fil-Agency and BC. Well, let's talk about BC. Champions at PSUK...they beat the younger Hearthrobs in the semis, and then...Draven or ML in the finals...both had ex-PBA's and Saudi veterans!!! Your Sunics are always in the finals but never really won anything major...but look at Snipers. KAPIS Champs 2005 vs SHOHOKU. Tikboyz were lucki sumtimes but they had kapistrano and manny zapanta and the others just a tag-along...YAHPI were good!!! Dennis Abatuan ex-ginebra. great player. reason Tikboyz got disbanded!!! hahaha..Then, ex-pros arrived on the scene after Abatuan...players got better as they have to compete against tougher and better opponents. Take note, better and tougher not nutter and thuggers.

BC won PSUK 2006 with the additon of capistrano, jojo sy and ricky from basildon. they are not original BC players. only few teams enterd PSUK league and most were weak with the exception of the top 3 usual teams.Epsom did not enter that league. ML/Draven never played in the league 10-15 yrs ago except for clarke nicholas. as for fili-agency they couldnt get to top 4 without the help of their new tall and strong players who only started playing for them 5yrs (or bit more) ago.

i didnt say teams before wouldnt win now. they were very good "but'' would find it harder to win now. i wasnt trying to be funny!....

Verten player make some good points and you're really only looking back over the last 10 years so, most of the players you are talking about are far from old and still play. Most teams had thier time of Dominace, Tiger Lads '93-'96, Tikboyz '97-'01 and now Epsom '04-'07. With other teams like Yaphi, Sunics, Basildon & BC also with good results.

It is pretty obvious that the game now is harder and faster mainly due to the fact that in the early years there were less teams, less players. The Philly B-ball scene has grown considerably over the last 3-5 years with leauges up & down the UK, the infux of oversea's workers plus the next generation of young philly players with lots of British born players coming of age.

Its hard to compare coz the old teams have dispanded but many of the good players are still playin in teams now. They play coz they luv the game and I feel that they only make the leauges better and contribute well. You even get games where fathers are against son's, nephews etc.....

The past is not so important but one thing is constant. The teams that did well, the teams that win Championships have a group of players that all contibuted, even with thier superstars it was always a team effort. There is no 'I' in team and teams that work hard and play well together will always get results. One or two players cannot win a game by themselves but they can make a team play better that is was make those players special.

As for entertaining basketball then that's different. A lot of the young teams are entertaining with speed and skill but might not win games yet. These will be teams that can only get better and with improvement and development will win more.

Arsenal play beautiful football but what have they won this season... jack shyte. (Chelsea...Chelsea....)

It is and exciting time for Philly Basketball UK and we should all do our best to support the teams and players, The Ambassador Games should be intresting if organised properly.
