he should have got an award,

award always goto players who can score alot(i.e. 3's) and make those magic hoops..... but the essence of it , why did Kampay won the championship? who made the team click?

People who know scientific basketball would agree with me. Jojo Sy, made alot of contribution-points, rebounds, score, steals and blocks. If you guys watch the NBA there is what we call statistics. Players reach a level named as triple double, fourple double. That is what he achieved. Inspite of his contribution still........ he is not recognized.

Sorry for my language but I have to say this.

That is how poor basketball organizers are, here in London.

But then again, this is something to take in.

since u love him so much why dont u give him an award instead of yapping about scientific blah blah blah....( no offense mr jojo sy ) the PSUK committee gave the awards as they see it .... honestly many players deserves an award or two... but that's the way it is...keep watching the pro's then find faults at the smaller leagues, might make u popular...... lighten up dude.....just love the gamewink

FK just medidate you never know they might change their mind n give mr.sy d award he deserved to get confusedconfusedconfused (best guard,best forward or best center whoo bec he is evrywhere in d court)

nahh im was commenting on his statement on how poor basketball is here smile  lol nba=psuk? what a comparison. but anyway Jojo Sy really is a very good all around player, no objections on that... just let us be thankful some ppl even cares to put up league like this, coz its all about the game isnt it?  wink

Mr. Sy u r my bet... Which ever team u play. I am sure u wud be able to take that team either to the playoffs or the championship. Which u already proved through out the years.

support will only be given to those who do things properly. out of desperation, people play in any of the leagues for there is no choice........

as the sound of it u r one of the organizers, or maybe committee.....

is it hard to accept ur own mistakes?

All u want to hear is complinents, but there is no such. I hope this would be a lesson for u.

And please do not speak for Mr. Sy, for u r not his barrister.

i too agree jojo shuldve got somethin for his hard work all season, and a especially good finals performance to add to that. but he got the championship with the team. to some, the players who play for the team rather than themselves, thats the most important...

Jojo runs a lot. He's got that extra energy level that most players don't have. But he said so himself that he lacks consistency on the scoring part. Wasn't he the manofthematch at the couple of games? I can remember vs JCS cos the new big guy manmarked capistrano but not Jojo. The 2 Jo's been playing together for while and kinda know each other's game. I wonder if that happened on the final? Peace SHK...respect is due.

Inconsistent is a polite way of saying it. but well said. I did mention sumtin like that somwehere. Just happy to be still playin whenever I can. Got my share of awards in the past already plus another champ medal. Just happy to be taking part still....sprint.gifbiggrin
