Hey Im Carlos, I come from a streetball-turned highschool background. My dad was player-coach for FilAgency and in the two seasons he was there FilAge got to the playoffs. Im a 5'9-5'10 point guard, quick to the hoop and decent dribbler. Just looking for some fun and extra training to work on my stamina.
kl but i duno if my dad can come cos he lives in the philippines fr two thirds of the year and hes kinda messed up so i doubt hed play Hes comin down next week bbut still dunno yt. I think i kinda rememba u but my visions of those days r pretty blurry. I guess he cud help ur team fr like a lil bit or sumthin. Still dunno tho cos he comes for like 8 weeks a year. In summer he cud help out. R u anywhere near south west ldn cos thts where im at right now-the only basketball i get right now is at school- where the competition is sik but they r like 6 footers. Some sixth formers frm my school made sum sick videos back in 2006(links included) if u wanna check it out.
J. Aguila's young man has come of age. The new rookie perhaps in time for KAMPI 2009? Westside Kings are full of strong players that can show a thing or two. Scrimmage perhaps and see if the set-up suits you. Unless you are a confident player, you are unlikely to claim a place anywhere. So just be patient and build your strength and your concentration. Young players tend to lack the latter. If I'm nearby I'd check you out too. Perhaps me and J could start a daddies team! Bring back the seniors league!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's some good players go to Clapham Common. So if you are nearby, you should check that out in your free time. But if your highschool buddies are giving you good enough training then you should stick there.

Dunno if this is still being used-embarassing to see what i said when i was 14. At the moment I'm 16, 6'1, Probably looking to fit into some sort of small forward/shooting guard position, yeah i guess westside kings look promising.
None apart from my school at the moment. Don't think I'm old enough yet. The filipinos who play basketball at my age is astonishing, whenever my school gets invited to games theres always like at least 1-2 filipinos in each schools starting 5. The games are usually very high-paced, as inexperience leads to bad shots, turnovers and some schools have a higher level than others.Like I said, the level of ball varies, my school bball team's depth isn't that great so I end up playing almost every position in every game, which can be annoying sometimes. Being one of the taller guys i often still have to play inside on defense, and despite being small forward I still pick up more boards than the center and pf. Haha being filipino and tall has its advantages
Get in touch with Ardy santos, the Dragons coach. He's into bringing out new telents. He's got 3 rookies this year. He's running an under 16 or 18 league very soon. So if you wanna experience some decent games just sign up. Doesn't matter who your team mates will be. You'll soon get to know them. And nothing wrong with being a versatile player...you'll be admired before you know it. Just play hard but play fair.

Haha as a matter of fact I remember Ardy, he used to play when my dad coached Fil-Age. Will he be there on Saturday? I might come up for the first time in like 5 years.
