Fixtures this Saturday, the 18th of July:
1st Game: Pedna Mobile vs Bracknell 2nd Game: Luton vs Jaguars 3rd Game: Airside vs Rebels
To be honest, Trinidad Warrior's the team to beat at the moment. They're too strong. They hammered Kusinang Munti, Jaguars and Airside with more than 10 points winning margin. See how it goes come semi finals.

^ yeah. Kusinang munti [carmona, jhanke, tuazon] ; jaguars [ramos, ebelane, sambo]; airside [zapanta, ortega, and some reinforcements from cambridge] were all full squad and had there respective losses to the Trinidad Warriors.
The warriors are composed of Romy Rivera, Quiambao from Warrington, Aldridge Reyes, JP Lacubtan and some other selected players all over the country. Michael Payas is playing for them as well and he's only playing as a substitute.
The way i foresee the game, it will be a very good semifinals: Warriors vs Airside ; Kusinang Munti vs AIG. Perhaps, a Warriors vs Kusinang Munti Championship as Bravo and Mustre Sr are expected to play with Carmona for Kusinang Munti.
It is indeed a very very interesting series.

gotta be the strongest league at the moment. The prospect of playing against those players has got to be the encouraging factor for those that travel from a distance! The lineups alone is enough to make you wanna join in the fun!
Despite being 5th you still see Airside qualifying instead of Speed? Speed probably have not played all the teams above them yet or all your expected top four.
I think, JP is very hard to stop once he's got the ball on the fast break. Lose possession and he's off. I've noticed in the past that Aldridge has got a temper. Romy is a hard man but fair, very experienced and clever with the ball.
When are the semi-finals?

Playoff is tentatively set for the last saturday of August. Semis scheduled for the first 2 weeks of September as top teams are on twice to beat incentive. Finals' on the 3rd week of September. Despite the League being affected by the Ambassador's Cup, the committee has no plan ditching out games as planned.
Undeniably, the top 3 teams, Warriors, Kusinang Munti & AIG are almost at the same caliber. The only big factor will be dependent on how good their respective coaches are of ensuring their players get adequate playing time and will be happy whilst in the team.
On the otherhand, the playoff contenders: Airside, Basingstoke & Speed Money are blackhorses in the League as they got players who are capable of delivering and are able to provide upset to the big teams.
See how it goes.. :)

Following the pulsating playoff games last saturday, we are pleased to inform everybody that this coming saturday's semifinals are:
1st game: Kusinang Munti vs Airside 2nd Game: Trinidad Warriors vs Speed Money
We understand that key players of both Kusinang Munti and Trinidad Warriors will be playing in the semi finals of Kampi's Ambassador's Cup. After thorough deliberation by the League 2009 Committee, it is anonymously decided that the Semi Finals of the Berkshire League will go ahead as planned regardless of time schedule of the Ambassador's Cup.
Cheers everyone.

THE First Round of Semi Finals are full of pressure and excitement on all the participating teams. It was a very close encounter for the first semis with Kusinang Munti bowing to Airside and the two will again meet this coming for the final leg of KM's twice to beat incentive. The second game between Warriors and Speed Money resulted to an expected good game pressure by the speed money to the undefeated warriors, but experience paid its toll as the speed money bowed to the trinidad warriors.
Trinidad Warriors will then just wait for the result of the final semis between kusinang munti and airside. Championship is slated on the 3rd of October 2009. I will update this thread soon as everything is finalised.

THE LEAGUE 2009 has just culminated with KUSINANG MUNTI overpowering the TRINIDAD WARRIORS. It was a very high tempo game with Kusinang Munti powered by Carmona, Jahnkee, Bravo, Mustre Sr. and Tuazon. Quiambao, Reyes, Lacubtan, Rivera and Alcantara of Trinidad Warriors were not strong enough to withstand the combined firepower of Jahnkee and Bravo.
More Info to follow...

That's two in a row for Jahnkee and Carmona! Could it have something to do with the confidence boosting win the week before at KAMPI West? Surely yes!!! The long break can't be used as an excuse by Warriors cos Charlton had the same at KAMPI west. Oh well, the best team won on the day.
