Read the opening statement about filipino communities abroad, and all the rest of it. Then take a look at the ground rules. There's this thing again with ex pros, and how if you have one in your team you'll be fined. I like the inter city idea, but cmon. Ex pros are filipinos too. They are over here working like everyone else. They are not being paid anymore to play basketball so why should'nt they be allowed to play. It makes it more competitive and gives more of a challenge. What do they mean if your too good you can't play. If Jaworski came over here and wanted to play I bet they would'nt say no. I am just a regular player like everyone else. Haven't played college ball or anything, so I want to be challenged. I want to play against the best available to improve my game, and to add incentive to the game. I feel better now, having got that off my chest. Thanx.
> Dunking is not permitted. This applies to pre-game warm-ups, during the actual game, half-time and post game period. The penalty is a technical foul given at the start of the game.

Playing for that league would indeed demand alot of commitment from players who live in london. The traveling time is a bit too much. Is it a Sunday league? I know some Epsom players who travel to Cambridge just to play.
In my point of view it's not worth it, there are already 3 leagues all through out the year here in London itself, most probably having a league in the weekdays (evenings) 2 games per day 3 times a week may be an option or another Saturday League to run with same season with Kampi maybe another way.
So Organizers who have less responsibilities or would have grown up children and willing to give there time this is for you.
Very interesting rules. I personally encourage those that can dunk to dunk but no need to hang on to the ring unless necessary to avoid injury to himself or the co-player. These hoops are built to high standards and carry a British Standards kitemark. But their rules don't go as far as the tie situations on team standings.
Still, full mark for posting the ground rules as they have a website to utilise.
Goodluck to all the teams!
