Unfortunately, if the last words were against Epsom then it will stick to people's minds that the fracas was instigated by Epsom. But if you were there, then you'll know this is not the case. Both parties are guilty as far as I am concern. But in the forum, only one person seems to be getting all the criticism.

Retaliating in any form is just as bad as when you receive a hard foul. If you try to get revenge by committing a hard foul or unsportmanlike foul then you deserve to be either ejected or given a technical foul.

Coaches and Team Captains are responsible for their players' behaviour on the court. Bring on the monetary penalties and match bans.

Trans: It was good, it was fun, It's okay even with trouble.

Did he not know that it will be shown on TFC.

He could have just said. something like. It was unfortunate that there was a fight. I did not expect it to be like that. I dont want to win the championship like so.

In my opinion, base on the links that i've seen. It seems that 1 of epsom players started it.

They should apply 2 or 3 matches ban plus fine of £100 for the guilty person.

I'm sure they know that a fight was imminent. Why They did not plan for that. Oh, well as you said lessons to be learn.

If Kampi adopt the import system league. I suggest 2 imports only and 1 import playing at a time.

Actually epsoms coach did not say that. He said "masaya" and then the interviewer said, "masaya kahit may konting gulo".

And did you here Mr Uren saying that the sunics were fair and it was all epsoms fault. That was out of order because thats complete b******s, and people who watched the game would agree. But people who didnt watch the game are gonna here this. Im pretty sure you were not at the game, but coz you heard this you think its true. Just know the facts man before you start typing dude.

These sort of things happen not only in basketball but other sports aswell. The player you saw with his uniform all ripped was banned from the league before, but let in again. If kampi should have done anything, it should have been to keep him banned coz he was the one who really caused the problem.................

You want the fact! KAMPI Officials were in undecided whether to interrupt the game earlier on when play stopped cos Joe De Guzman (ripped vest) bounced the ball hard on the floor next to Bravo and Carmona with elbows aimed on both sides. Fight nearly broke out then.
KAMPI should've acted then to calm down the players. But they didn't do enough or if they did, then it obviously didn't work.

The fact is Joe De Guzman was provoking the epsom players throughout the game. The officials should have seen this and done something about it. One of the referees did give a warning to De guzman and Carmona coz they were exchanging words. I heard De Guzman was bastos to the wife of Carmona. Pati babae papatulan nya!! So you can think what u like, of course "Coach" is going to side with sunics coz some of the sunics players are on his tailblazer team. But isn't that the filipino way? Look out for your own regardless of who is in the wrong.......

To be fair, it was not entirely Joe's fault...as you can see on the video..Mel was fouling Reyes and Reyes pulled him down. That should've been a technical foul on Reyes. Unsportsmanlike behaviour!

I have known reyes since in Philly -his from the south. He was stabbed in the face while playing basketball for playing harsh and provoking opponents while playing.

when u see him again, have a look on the scar on his face-surely a remembrance to remember.

To be honest guys, I'm not on any bodies side. Done is done. I'll put my handbrake now. It's no point now. Because KAMPI is not register here. We wont here their reply.

In case on my player Bing. If he is guilty of any wrong doing or unsportsmaship behaviour, He should be punish. like 2-3 match game ban for the next league. Sorry bing, I know your reading this too. hehehehe.

Do u not know about Fair Play & Sportmanship? How can u keep saying that it's all Joe De Guzman's fault! KAMPI & the Officials are the ones to blame for they should have defused the situation with the players, at least call a time out & talk!

That Reyes fool,#34, he was already fouled out & yet he came FROM the bench to start the fracas (we have video evidence of this,so too does KAMPI but they dont want anyone to see it, but the person recording got the best view of it all, guess who?? The Chairman's son!). Yet KAMPI still gave the Trophy to them. They must love them up innit! (Illegal betting maybe)

Another thing is, there's suppose to be these 2 Ex-Professional players who plays for Epsom, Bravo & Carmona. They must be true champions to accept the trophy...I mean, winning like that should be on top of every players wish list right? Your own team starting the fight, KAMPI on your side coz you got Ex-PBA players...and then U get the Championship Trophy without finishing the game...whoo-hoo!
True ballers would have called for a replay, or if KAMPI was smart, not let anyone have the Trophy coz it was just marred by controversy!

Another fact that people dont know is, Joe De Guzman was banned for a while but the Sunics asked the commitee if he can play and THEY AGREED.
Also that Reyes guy was supposed to be banned but KAMPI still let him play.

Epsom should be proud to win like that, I mean, if u see the TFC report, Epsom's coach was clearly delighted in winning like that even though there was trouble...He said "masaya" and then the interviewer said, "masaya kahit may konting gulo" & he clearly agreed (with a beaming smile on his face)

If anyone is to be banned, then it should be Epsom for instigating the fight...KAMPI's rule book states that.

But to be perfectly honest with u true ballers out there, we should ban KAMPI altogether, boycott them coz through-out the many years they've been organising the Pinoy Basketball League (which I am very grateful of) its time for them to give it up coz:
1) The fees just keep getting bigger
2) So unorganised (i.e. Schedules/Timekeeping/Match-fixing?)
3) Officials can so easily be influenced (Bring back the non-filipino refs)
I guess the only good thing last season was that many new teams joined.

The ELSA (KAPIS) League is as bad as KAMPI...you'll see it in the later stages of the tournament.

To Coaches and Players, you should join the PSUK League!!!

But hey, F**ck it!! What's done is done!! And that's all I have to say about that!!!

Hey FilisFinest,

You guys did really well to get to your 3rd Finals but your knew from the start it was going to be an up hill struggle 5 Vs 5+3 (refs) + KAMPI.......!!!!

It's good you've put it behind ya I everyone else should coz wateva we say on this forum KAMPI will make ur own usual bias decisions.

As for the next KAMPI leauge, which we have played in since 1999, I am not sure if will bother this year.... Price keeps going up with no improvements and it may change to the import rule so the dymanics may change for the better or worst.

From what we have experienced from PSUK so far, with organised scheulde, proper clock, ok refs (so far), better venues. Maybe they should look at having a league to run against KAMPI on the Sundays....who knows.....

At the moment I know which I would choose.

'filisfinest' why do you get so upset when people are giving their opinions and say that it's because they are the no.1 fan of the opposing team when clearly you are either a 'player' of pinoy sunics or 'their' no.1 fan!
you people are always slagging off the kampi commitee and organisation but you always play in their leagues. if you ask me it's because you always get to the finals but 'never' win the championship...sour grapes!
your players are arrogant and show no respect to other players and the kampi comittee. your just a bunch of street ballers with street mentallity...show a bit of class for once!
